UNSHAVEN U-FUE
A REVOLUTIONARY HAIR TRANSPLANTATION TECHNIQUE
One of the reasons that many people who wanted to have hair implantation (FUE) postponed their decision, was the “mandatory shaving” of the donor and recipient area.
Thus, although it was clear that a very short haircut was necessary for the extraction and repositioning of hair follicles, professional and/or social reasons forced them not to carry out the transplantation after all.
At VF Laser Clinics, we apply the advanced U-FUE (Unshaven FUE) method, which does NOT REQUIRE ANY SHAVING, either of the donor or the recipient area!
We would like to point out that the HIGH QUALITY of the result REMAINS THE SAME, whether one chooses FUE BACK or U-FUE. What changes is that with U-FUE, the hair implantation process is not perceived, since no changes need to be made to the candidate’s crown.
HOW IS THE U-FUE TECHNIQUE APPLIED
The procedure is similar to the advanced FUE BACK method that we apply at VF Laser Clinics, which has significant advantages over the classic FUE technique.
The surgeon, after removing the individual hair follicles under local anesthesia, inserts the transplants in their final position at a predetermined density. With the U-FUE method:
- the extraction of hair follicles can be done without requiring sufficient skin elasticity,
- the number of hair follicles that can be transferred is much larger than in classic FUE,
- there’s no scarring, and of course
- no shaving required!
In addition, at VF LASER CLINICS the implants are placed in their final position by the surgeon (and not mechanically), so the result is completely natural.
