Various invasive techniques can be used regarding the buttocks lift. Taking into account the wishes of the candidate and the particularities of each case, the surgeon will objectively decide which technique should be used in order to achieve the best aesthetic result with absolute safety.
Buttocks lift with silicone mesh
A new technique that offers many advantages, is the buttock lift with silicone elastic mesh.
A special silicone mesh is inserted into each buttock through an incision at the upper border of the natal cleft, the head of which is attached to the membrane covering the muscles (lumbar fascia). The mesh is then hooked to the buttocks and pulls them upwards, thus lifting the entire area.
Buttocks lift with liposculpture
Another new technique is the buttocks lift with liposculpture. Essentially, the buttocks are given shape and volume by fat from our own body.
First, a point on the body is selected where fat is in excess. At this point, liposuction is performed and the fat that is removed is passed through special machines that separate it from other elements, so that it is completely “clean”. The surgeon then injects the fat in the buttocks through small punctures, exactly where it is needed.
This technique eliminates any possibility of allergy, since the material used comes from our own body. In addition, it is a procedure with a double benefit, since along with the buttocks, the area where the liposuction was performed is also reshaped.
Both of the procedures mentioned are performed under general anesthesia. Upon completion, the patient remains in the clinic for one night.
The procedure usually concerns women of an advanced age with a severe problem of sagging and drooping in the buttocks.
Regarding younger people with a milder problem, the non-invasive method of buttocks lifting with threads (Brazilian Lift) is recommended
The procedure is performed under total anesthesia. It can last from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the technique used.
The patient can return home the day after the operation, and it is recommended that he/she avoids sitting for the first 24 hours. The 2 modern invasive techniques that we apply, generally make the buttocks lifting well tolerated by the patient, and minimally painful. Postoperative pain is treated with painkillers.
Due to the nature of the procedure, swelling and bruising is formed in the area. The above is a normal reaction of the body, and gradually subsides. Depending on the type and extent of the procedure, the patient can return to work within 7 to 10 days, while the use of a special corset is required for about 5 weeks.
At the same time, it is recommended that the patient should lie on her stomach or on her side for the first 7-20 days, and avoid physical exercise for 4-6 weeks.
The results are visible with the regression of the swelling and bruising, within 2-3 weeks.
