Cellu Free is a medical technique, recommended for cellulite treatment.

Cellulite, which affects 90% of women, is the result of both fat storage and water retention in the body. Cellu Free treats cellulites’ fat storages, by cutting the connective bands woven throughout the fat.  These tight bands pull down the skin, creating the puckering on the surface of the skin.

The treatment is based on a procedure called subcision.  The doctor uses a tiny device (size of a needle) to  cut the connective bands just under the skin. A rapidly vibrating blade on the end of the device, divides the band causing the dimple. The treated skin bounces back to smooth itself out in as little as 3 days.

HOW THE TREATMENT WORKS

The CelluFree treatment is based on the advanced CELL-X medical system, which features a thin, specially shaped needle in its head, to treat the cellulite-causing zones just below the surface of the skin.

Basically, the needle enters at a depth of about 6mm and cuts the fibrous septa that exist in a vertical direction under our skin and are responsible for cellulite and the orange peel appearance.

As soon as the doctor cuts the fibrous septa, the dents that we see in the skin disappear , and the appearance of the skin becomes smooth again.  It is non-invasive , and does not involve general anesthesia or mild sedation, only local anesthesia with a cream on the area of application.
