The length of hair transplant procedure depends on the number of grafts being processed. A typical hair transplant session (2,000 – 3,500 grafts), normally involves 6-8 hours of surgery.

The number of grafts that one may needs, depends on the individual degree of hair loss and on the desired outcome. In most cases, 4,000-8,000 grafts are transplanted. In cases of severe hair loss, at least 10,000 grafts should be processed.
